It was the coldest day of the fall with a brisk wind that made being outside a little uncomfortable, but the sun was shining and it was member’s weekend at the art museum in Philadelphia.
There were three special exhibitions that we wanted to see: Audubon to Warhol, The Art of American Still Life; The Wrath of the Gods, Masterpieces by Rubens, Michelangelo, and Titian; and Multitude, Solitude, The Photographs of Dave Heath.
We had a very pleasant lunch at the museum in our first visit to the Granite Hill restaurant. It was an enjoyable finale to our day in Philadelphia.
