images of our life
I bought the tickets in January, almost eight months ago. Six great friends, some of whom had never been to a concert at Wolf Trap would be sharing an evening with Jen and I starting with a picnic followed by music by the Piano Guys. All of of us were looking forward to the event with great anticipation.
As the day approached, though, the weather forecast seemed to worsen every day. The radar maps confirmed that rain was on its way and it looked like the clouds would move in during our picnic and just get worse as the evening and the music continued.
Just to confirm our worst fears, the rain started as Jen and I neared Wolf Trap.
When we arrived at the park, though, the rain stopped, the park ranger told his forecast was that we had a 100% chance of staying dry, and he turned out to be exactly right.
The meal was great, the show was exciting, moving, energizing, and touching.
A wonderful time with very special friends.
